One of the reasons for this exceptional quality lies in the fabrics that compose it. The garment is made with a mix of alpaca wool and virgin wool, for a total of 100% of high quality fabric. These natural fabrics have been carefully chosen to ensure comfort, softness and warmth, without compromising the strength and durability of the coat.
The alpaca wool is famous for its unique characteristics. It is a precious and rare wool, known for its sheen and softness, as well as for its ability to retain heat. Alpaca wool has natural resistance to stains, UV rays and water, making it ideal for creating durable garments. The virgin wool, on the other hand, is obtained from sheep that have not yet been sheared and have not undergone any treatment. It is soft, resistant and durable.
An alpaca wool garment can be completely ruined by washing it the wrong way, below you will find all the information for washing an alpaca garment: the coat must be washed dry clean, do not bleach, do not tumble dry, iron at low temperature and with little steam. To regain the shine of the garment, with the aid of a special brush, brush it from top to bottom.
