Alpaca coat: Maja
The peculiarity of this garment lies in the choice of fine fabrics that compose it. The 48% alpaca wool gives the garment a unique softness and lightness, making it extremely pleasant to the touch. Alpaca is a precious fiber that comes from South America and is known for its ability to maintain body heat, guaranteeing excellent thermoregulation. The remaining 32% combed virgin wool gives the garment greater resistance and a texture that makes it even more elegant. The combed virgin wool is obtained from the first shearing of the sheep and is processed with a combing technique that eliminates the shorter fibers and impurities, guaranteeing a finer and more resistant fabric . 20% polyamide has been added to the fabric to give it greater elasticity and resistance to wear, as well as guaranteeing an always perfect fit even after numerous uses.
An alpaca wool garment can be completely ruined by washing it the wrong way, below you will find all the information for washing an alpaca garment: the coat must be washed dry clean, do not bleach, do not tumble dry, iron at low temperature and with little steam. To regain the shine of the garment, with the aid of a special brush, brush it from top to bottom.
